DC OK Signal

Output Voltage Monitoring

A DC OK signal is a special function for monitoring the output voltage of a power supply. It checks the output voltage generated by the power supply independently of externally fed-back voltage signals. A DC-OK signal is also called a power good or power fail signal. Usually, the functionality is implemented as a relay contact, which is open as long as the output voltage deviates too much from the setpoint (normally open/NO). If the generated voltage reliably corresponds to the preset level, the contact is closed.
